Mintie Writing

For the last few weeks we have been writing a description about mintie's. First we had to smell it, then feel it, then taste it. It took a lot of hard work so I hope you like it!

Mintie Description
I was looking at the fully white rectangular prism which was a mintie. I have tasted them before but this time the mintie looked pure. I was going to save the spectacular treat to see what it looked like first. I was drooling of hunger when I saw the minty goodness trapped inside the wrapper.

The first thing I see is the mintie logo covering two sides of the wrapper and the other two sides are pictures of people who need a mintie because they have had fails, I also see twisty bits on each end. The shape of the whole thing looks like a rectangular prism and their are some crinkly bits on the wrapper too. So after I looked at it I decided to smell it and it smelt like
Fresh paper on a fully grown mint plant. When I was doing that my thumbs were sinking in because the mintie was really squishy and felt like a hard boiled egg.

Next I open the wrapper and it sounds like I’m opening chip packets and bacon sizzling in the pan. When I look inside I see these really faint lines on top of the mintie. It’s like it was a block of ice with uneven split ends. I also smell a strong after dinner mint which made me want to have the mintie straight away.

When we got told to, I shoved the sweet yet strong mintie into my mouth. When my taste buds got the chance they pounced at it with all of their might and the sourness flooded through them and exhilarated all of my energy up a whole other level. But there wasn’t just that it was also the after dinner mint smell and the fresh paper on the fully grown mint plant was turning to a fresh poison ivy taste and smell. But the bad side about it was that it stuck to nearly all of my teeth which meant It was getting crushed a sticky with all of my saliva on it.
I think that mintie’s are a good treat for you to have on occasions!
