Our Trip To Orana Park
On Monday the seventh of August we went to Orana Wildlife Park. At nine o'clock we left the class and went on the bus. We arrived there at nine thirty and lined up in our groups outside. Our tour guide's name was Sarah. She showed us most of the animals there.
First we saw the kea’s. There were Four of them being fed by the zoo keeper. Next we saw the kiwi’s. I saw one of them in the corner of the habitat. After that we saw the lions but they were all sleeping. After we saw the lions we saw the tigers. The tigers came up to us and started growling which was funny. Then we saw the Rhino’s. They were all sleeping of their habitat. Following after the Rhino’s was the giraffes. We were going to end up feeding the giraffe’s but they weren't very hungry at the time. After we saw the giraffes we saw the cheetahs. They were very frightened of us. The last animal we saw was the gorilla’s. The gorilla’s are my favourite animals because they swing across the ropes outside and sleep a lot. I enjoyed my trip to Orana Park because I had a lot of fun and learnt things that i didn't know about animals.
