What I Have Learnt This Week

This week In my math's group I have learnt about box and whisker graphs. This type of graph is used to show the shape of the range, its central value, and its variability. In a box and whisker plot the ends of the box are the upper and lower quartiles, so the box spans the interquartile range. the median is marked by a vertical line inside the box.

Lo: We had to work out all of the correct change for a supermarket list.

Today my class had a cyber smart lesson and we had to make a Maths DLO. This maths DLO was about money and giving change. This is my screencastify down below about how to work out how much change you have.

First we had to make a copy of the google drawing. Then we had to go onto the countdown website and get a list of grocery's and put them on the google drawing. Then we had to start making screencastify's about how to give change to the customer.

We have been learning about ratios.

To solve ratios you need to figure out how many of each thing there are. Then you have to simplify it by finding the greatest common factor.
