This week we have been learning about how to make recounts.We have been learning about this because we have to know what we have to write in a recount.I asked myself questions like, why do we write recounts? when do we write recounts? and what features do we see in a recount? I hope you enjoy my recount because it was fun to write.
Date: 1st March 2016 Title: Spencer Park
On Friday morning at nine o’clock we were getting ready to go to Spencer Park. A few minutes later we were on the bus, Josiah and I were sitting next to each other on the way and we saw some cool cars. When we got there we sat by a huge tree and ate morning tea. For morning tea I ate some wheelies and a muesli bar. Later we got to go and have free time, meet new people and make friends with everybody. I played on the tyre swings with Andre and played volleyball with Austin. Next we all went to the beach to do activities. The first activity we done was to dig the deepest hole in groups and at the end we got photos of Mrs Mcguinniety in them.After that we designed our heroes out of the sand and some shells. I was in a group with some other people and we all decided to make our dad, at the end it looked awesome. Then we went back to the park and ate lunch it was delicious. After that we played on the playground again and after a few minutes we went back on the bus and drove back to school. It was an awesome and entertaining day.
