He has won some medals that look very shiny like the sparkling ocean. The medals he has won are two gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal which was in the Commonwealth Games. Recently he has won a silver medal at the Rio Olympic Games. He has also won in his World Championships two golds medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal. Sam Webster is a very famous person in New Zealand. He is famous because he is a one of a kind cyclist and he has great sportsmanship. He is a very respectful person who respects other countries. Sam Webster is a good man and deserves a good trainer. I trust Sam Webster to be a cyclist for our country.

Overall I think Sam Webster is a good sportsman because he has good sportsmanship and respects others.

Reading Activity 3: Sport Specifies

For my next activity for reading I had to write a poem that describes how you would feel about travelling to Rio. Would you be excited? Would you be scared? How would you feel?
This is my authentic and genuine poem!

I'm on my way to the Olympics
what a beautiful sight
but I wonder about all of those freaky mosquitoes flying around
just waiting to drink all of my blood
while I am still on the plane I am feeling a gross feeling in my stomach
and I feel like I am going to explode
But the main two feelings I am having are excited and scared.
for the excited one is that I am going to have a good report for the golf
but the scared feeling is that the plane gets there ok
I'm also very nervous about the New Zealand team,
hopefully they don't get any injury's
but the only thing I can do is back my team
and support them all the way

Rio 2016 Reading

For reading today we had to do work about the 2016 Olympics which is in Brazil, Rio. The Rio 2016 Olympics was a hardcore place. People were allowed to injure other people to win. This is my new slide show for day 2. Stay tuned for more activities and slideshows!
